A Medical Eye Exam focuses on the treatment/management of an eye disease or disorder. This type of exam will be billed to your medical insurance provider.
There are a number of medical eye conditions that can be treated by an optometrist. If the condition requires advanced medical care or surgery, your optometrist will refer you to the appropriate provider.
